In November, we are re-launching our monthly community newspaper as the Eastbourne Voice.
It will now be published by Newsquest and we are beginning with a print run of 2,500 copies with distribution points all across Eastbourne. In addition to this, we will have a fully readable copy available on our website, we will share it on social media and we already have email subscriptions of over a thousand.
It will remain FREE in print, online and across social media platforms. Distribution points will be announced shortly.
The newspaper will still be produced by Eastbourne Volunteers and have our community at its heart. There will be all of the sections that you would expect of a newspaper with a few unique twists: politics, news, environment, food, health and wellbeing, a digital roundup and a big focus on community and the arts scene in Eastbourne, including theatre, art and literature.
We want to offer you something different, something you will love, and something that will give all residents of Eastbourne a voice.
This is a non-profit, volunteer led newspaper with the aim of community cohesion, so we are keeping advertising costs low in order that small, local businesses can also afford to advertise. By advertising with us though, you are not just promoting your business cost effectively, you are also supporting our community project. We describe all of our advertisers as our sponsors, and as well as an advert in our newspaper we will also promote you on our website, on social media and we can put your business cards on the wall of our community information hub in the town centre.

The advertising cost is a tax-deductible expense, for most businesses this will be 20% of the advert.
